PHOENIX (AP) - Rookies Chris Young and Mark Reynolds homered for the second night in a row, and the NL West-leading Arizona Diamondbacks beat the crumbling Los Angeles Dodgers again, 6-2 on Saturday night.
The Dodgers extended their losing streak to a season-worst seven games and were officially eliminated from the division race. Los Angeles is mathematically in, but realistically out, of wild-card contention.
Brandon Webb earned his career-best 17th victory as Arizona won its fourth straight to go two games up on the second-place San Diego Padres, who were playing the Colorado Rockies.
