ROME (AP) - A U.N. food agency in Rome said Wednesday that one of its staffers had been kidnapped in Mogadishu, Somalia.
The World Food Program said that Idris Osman, whose nationality was not certain, was taken earlier Wednesday. "We are still trying to ascertain the exact circumstances," said agency spokesman Barry Came.
"We are urgently taking up his detention with the authorities," he said.
