LONDON (AP) - The U.S. dollar was mixed against other major currencies in European trading Monday. Gold rose.
The euro traded at $1.4406, down from $1.4416 late Friday in New York. Later, in midday trading in New York, the euro fetched $1.3027.
Other dollar rates in Europe, compared with late Friday, included 114.71 Japanese yen, up from 114.11; 1.1651 Swiss francs, up from 1.1639; and 0.9556 Canadian dollars, down from 0.9617.
