WASHINGTON (AP) - Pack your bags, President Bush. Air Force One is waiting to whisk you around the globe next year, from the Middle East in January to South America in November and many places in between.
It's a time honored tradition — particularly for presidents unpopular at home — to roam the world in the last year in office.
Tuesday's announcement that the president plans to travel to the Mideast shortly after the new year added to what was already expected to be a busy year of overseas travel.
