MOGADISHU, Somalia (AP) - Gunmen kidnapped two Libyan diplomats from a busy market in Somalia's lawless capital on Saturday, a guard at the Libyan Embassy and the Foreign Ministry in Tripoli said. The two were later freed, according to a Libyan official.
"They were abducted by men with pistols," said the embassy guard, who asked that his name not be used because he was not authorized to speak to the media.
An earlier Libyan Foreign Ministry statement identified the two as Naji Gassouda and Fathi Boudiyah and said they were forced out of their car as they were shopping.
