 BOSTON (AP) - Marc Savard and Dennis Wideman each had a goal and an assist to lift the Boston Bruins to a 4-1 victory over the New York Islanders on Thursday night.
Tim Thomas made 28 saves and Zdeno Chara added two assists for the Bruins, who have won four of six and will head into the All-Star break seeded seventh in the Eastern Conference.
The Islanders lost for the first time in five road games but have dropped four of six going into the break.
