KAMPALA, Uganda (AP) - A six-story school under construction in the capital collapsed Wednesday, killing 15 workers, police said.
More than 30 workers were buried when the school caved in, police spokesman Gabriel Tibayungwa said. "We rushed to the scene and started removing the dead bodies and the injured," he said.
Fifteen people died, and eight seriously injured workers were rushed to the hospital. The others escaped with minor injuries, he said.
