Zoe's Ark Children Still in Camp

NAIROBI, Kenya (AP) - The 103 children French aid workers are jailed for trying to kidnap from Chad have yet to be reunited with their families more than three months after their ordeal began, the U.N. children's agency said Friday.

Bureaucratic difficulties, Chadian government officials' determination to ensure the children are returned to the correct guardians and insecurity in eastern Chad have complicated efforts to send the children home, said UNICEF spokesman Martin Dawes.

Many people have come forward to claim them, but few Chadians living in remote villages have birth certificates.
