Parker Returns for Spurs

Thursday, February 21, 2008 7:30:31 PM

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - Tony Parker will return to the San Antonio Spurs' lineup Thursday night, his first game in about three weeks.

Spurs coach Gregg Popovich said Parker, out since Jan. 30 with a left ankle injury, will start but see limited minutes against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Parker is averaging 19 points and six assists for the defending champions.

Popovich also said he expects newly acquired big man Kurt Thomas to join the team sometime this weekend.
