 MIAMI (AP) - An American Airlines flight to Chicago landed safely in Miami on Friday after being diverted with nose gear trouble.
Flight 862 landed at Miami International Airport around 3:45 p.m. It had taken off from West Palm Beach but soon had trouble.
Pilots of the MD-80 jet burned off fuel as a precaution before landing. Airport spokesman Greg Chin saids there were about 130 people aboard the plane.
