ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) - The man who killed Kitty Genovese in New York City in a case that became a textbook example of urban apathy has been denied parole.
The state Division of Parole says 73-year-old Winston Moseley was denied parole for a 13th time on Tuesday.
The 1964 murder of Genovese became notorious after reports that neighbors heard her screams but failed to help as she was stabbed to death. That account has been challenged over the years.
