ADDIS ABABA, Ethiopia (AP) - A bomb attached to a bus exploded in northwestern Ethiopia Thursday, killing eight people, government officials said. Ethiopia said rival Eritrea was responsible.
The bomb went off in Humera in Tigray State, about 373 miles northwest of the capital, Addis Ababa, Tigray State Vice President Abadi Zemo said. Humera borders Sudan.
Eight people died in the explosion and 26 were wounded including an 11-year-old child, police spokesman Demsash Hailu said.
