 ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (AP) - Josh Duncan scored 16 points and No. 10 Xavier limited Dayton to five baskets in the final 12 minutes for a 74-65 victory in the quarterfinals of the Atlantic 10 Conference tournament Thursday.
C.J. Anderson added 15 points, Stanley Burrell had 13, Drew Lavender 12 and Derrick Brown 11 as the top-seeded Musketeers (27-5) beat Dayton (21-10) for the third time this season.
The Musketeers advanced to the semifinals of the conference tournament for the seventh straight year. They will play Friday night against the winner of the Richmond-Saint Joseph's game.
