NEW YORK (AP) - The head of entertainment programming at HBO, Carolyn Strauss, is leaving that role, the cable channel said Monday.
The HBO veteran will remain with the premium cable channel but in a yet-to-be-determined capacity, and a search is under way for her replacement.
The channel, a big money earner for parent company Time Warner Inc., hasn't had recent hit shows that rival the accolades garnered by previous blockbusters like "Sex and the City" and "The Sopranos."
