KARACHI, Pakistan (AP) - A lawyer for a suspected Pakistani militant convicted in a bomb attack that killed a U.S. diplomat says his client has appealed his death sentence.
Anwarul Haq was found guilty earlier this year on charges including murder for the suicide car bombing that killed David Foy and three Pakistanis on March 2, 2006, near the U.S. Consulate in Karachi.
Defense lawyer Mohammad Farooq said Haq filed his appeal on Tuesday with the high court of Sindh province.
