NEW YORK (AP) - The New York Knicks may have started the process of finding a replacement for Isiah Thomas, according to published reports.
The New York Times reported Wednesday that Madison Square Garden chairman James Dolan has had informal talks with Indiana Pacers CEO Donnie Walsh. The report cited a person with ties to Walsh, who said the sides will likely meet next week.
The Daily News first reported the talks Monday. Both reports said no offer had been made, adding there was no indication Walsh was Dolan's top candidate if he removes Thomas as president.
