ASUNCION, Paraguay (AP) - An Interpol official in France says the agency has issued a "red notice" for the capture of Colombian rebel leader Rodrigo Granda, who is wanted in connection with a high-profile kidnapping and killing.
The Interpol official, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said Granda is wanted for investigation of membership in a criminal group, kidnapping and injuries resulting in a death.
The victim was Cecilia Cubas — daughter of former Paraguayan president Raul Cubas. She was kidnapped in September 2004 and her body was found in February 2005.
