 BASEL, Switzerland (AP) - Novak Djokovic recorded his first 6-0, 6-0 win at an elite event Thursday, shutting out Jan Hernych at the Swiss Indoors.
John Isner of the United States lost 4-6, 7-6 (9), 6-2 to Richard Gasquet. The Frenchman saved the second of Isner's two match points during the tiebreaker with one of his six aces. The 6-foot-9 Isner had 22 aces.
The third-ranked Djokovic needed just 53 minutes to beat his 59th-ranked Czech opponent in their second-round match.
